COVID Protocols

Here are the protocols to be followed for tourists. The effective date of these protocols is April 10, 2021, and may change prior to your stay.

General restrictions and requirements

Here is the overview, but please visit the St Lucia COVID-19 site for details and the most updated government information.

Guests must must register their trip at the St Lucian website, preferably at least a week before they arrive. Guests must have a negative result from a PCR test performed no more than five (5) days before travelling to Saint Lucia (they count the arrival day as part of the five days), and the test results must be submitted prior to arrival.

Guests will be screened for COVID symptoms upon arrival at the airport and during their stay at the villa. This will include no-touch temperature checks.  Symptomatic guests will be immediately isolated and tested.  They will be quarantined if the test result is positive for COVID-19.

After arriving at the villa, guests may only leave the villa when transported by a certified driver (our driver is certified) to/from COVID-certified activities and locations.  Guests found off-property in an unauthorized fashion are subject to deportation.  Please let Junior and Doxie help you with your itinerary and you will be fine.  Walking anywhere from the villa is a challenge, anyway.

During their stay, Guests will follow standard COVID protocols (mask-wearing, social distancing and handwashing) with staff and anyone not a part of their travelling party.

Allowed activities

Nearby activities/destinations that are currently available to villa guests: two nearby beaches (Soufriere and Malgretoute), snorkeling and diving, boat tours, Diamond waterfalls and gardens, ATV rides, the mud baths at the volcano, Tet Paul Nature Trail, chocolate tour, and the Gros Piton hike.  Further away, there is zip lining, horseback riding, and Segway tours through the Rodney Bay hills.

Our guests also have access to six nearby restaurants: Caille Blanc, Dasheene at Ladera, Boucan at Rabot Estates, Mango Tree at Stonefield, Bamboo at Fond Doux, and Orlando’s.

How this impacts your stay

The biggest impacts are that you’ll have to stick to an itinerary since reservations are required for many activities and you can’t go to grocery stores or bars. Doxie can purchase and deliver groceries to the villa for a nominal fee.

If your party includes children under 13 years old, four of the six restaurants are banning children that young due to COVID, so you may find yourself eating at the villa much of the time.
